WoW Ultimate Armory Guide

Having good armor is one of the most significant factors that must be followed in the World of Warcraft. The reason? Because it acts as a source of keeping you alive during the gameplay. Since the guide is for characters that are above level 10, we won’t be listing any armory data providing platforms below it, so it’s recommended that you follow the guide once you reach the required level.

WoW Progress

It is arguable the best platform that contains every kind of information and data, from DPS rankings to gear scores for the world of warcraft armory. The moment you click on a character, you are provided with a lot of information, and the cool part is that it also displays other data like Languages, Raids Per Week, Mythic Plus Dungeons, Specs Playing, and Looking for Guild, etc., – Right under the character information section.

Apart from that, there are other unique and interesting features for the world of warcraft armory, such as DPS Information, Item Level, Achievement Points, PVE Scores, Mythic Experience, Gears, and Past & Recent Guilds. You can spend hours or days looking through every tiny bit of data, and that’s what makes WoW Progress special.

Warcraft Logs

Warcraft Logs is also on par with WoW Progress, so it’s basically either that or this. The reason why Warcraft Logs is high in ratings is that it’s a great source when it comes to choosing a genuine armory alternative. Some of the aspects that set this platform apart from the others are its Recent Activity Tab, and the character information that you can gather here is; Item Level, Achievement Points, Rankings (Mythic, Heroic, Normal), Gears, Talents, and Statistics.

Simple Armory

It’s true that simplicity for wowarmory is the best, and that’s the case with Simple Armory. This platform is all about the information on the character’s achievements, mounts, and pets. In-depth; you can view your achievement status (PVP, Exploration, Reputation, Profession, etc.), you can check your collectables (Companions, Pets, Mounts, etc.), you can check your current reputation status (depending upon your respective faction), and there’s even a calendar that displays the date of when your achievements were completed. Other than that, you can easily access the Battle.net platform by clicking the top-right menu, and there’s also a Contact button that can be used to get in touch with the listed player.

Was there an official mobile armory application developed by Blizzard?

The answer is an obvious yes because in the era that we live in, having such a source of an information provider that is accessible on every device is necessary, especially for wow armory. The application was available for both Android, as well as Apple to make sure that no user is left out. The WoW Mobile Armory was meant to keep you attached to the game, and that is even if you’re not playing. You could check every information on your character, along with the statistics and gear, and at the same time, you could also look for other characters, items, and guilds, or even chat with the members of your guild. Apart from that, the Auction House was also available on the application for wowarmory. I mean, what more could anyone ask for?

What are your thoughts?

So, it’s time to wrap up, and there you have it –three of the best Battle wow armory alternative platforms that you can freely use. If it’s not to your liking, you can always hop to some of the newly developed mobile applications for some exciting stuff.

New World Territories and Settlements

The locations of the settlements in New World are pre-determined within the Aeternum. Each one of these locations has a predefined layout that players upgrade to once they have complete control of the settlement. Aeternum is broken down into different territories, and many of them have their own fort and settlement.

What is the difference?

Settlement is an area where players socialize with one another, in this new world settlements guide. They can perform various activities like buying properties, trading goods, crafting items, and working on town projects. Besides that, they can also support their respective factions through missions. The area also serves as a respawn point if a player dies. You can even purchase your own house where and manage your storage spaces and trophy perks.

A fort is what needs to be defended in a territory during war breakouts. It serves as the control point in PVP worlds, and it’s also what players often target to claim a territory.

How do you claim territory?

The only way to claim territory is through war; however, there’s an exception – During a new server launch there are no territory owners, so if there’s unclaimed territory, you can claim it by paying a fee at the fort. It’s worth noting that you need to travel to the fort as it cannot be done in the settlement, for this new world settlements guide.

Once the pre-requites quests are completed, you can choose between three factions, and after that, create or join a company. The company will then inherit the faction of the creator and control territory and settlement. The controlled territory can be developed into a city with several crafting stations, a tax system, fort, houses, etc for new world territory standing.

Who is the owner of the territory?

The leader of the company owns the territory, who is also known as a Governor. However, the actual owner is the faction that the company belongs to, and they simply act as the front image for that very faction. Territory maintenance fee also needs to be paid to the faction.

What are the responsibilities of a governor?

The governor sets the tax rate and fee to collect the dues that are owed to the respective faction. Besides that, a governor maintains the control of the territory for the faction, while also upgrading the quality of life in the settlement. This can be done by starting Town Projects. Also, you need to own a house in the territory’s settlement to be a resident.

What happens when the governor is not around?

Well, if the governor is not around or can’t play for whatever reasons, the governor appoints a Consul or multiples of them to handle the territorial work. Consuls, at that given time, will have the same power as the governor so these players need to be someone trustable.

How to upgrade a settlement?

The crafting and refining stations in a settlement can be upgraded. Upgrading them unlocks access to craft high-quality powerful items. Other than that, the lifestyle buffs and fort can also be upgraded. The buffs are powerful, holding long-term bonuses with respect to crafting and combat. Every town upgrade costs more in weekly town maintenance.

Players who don’t have a house in the settlement will not receive the benefits of lifestyle buffs for new world territory standing. These buffs are activated through Town Projects that are set by the company controlling the territory.

What are town projects?

Town projects are large-scale activities completed by players to upgrade their settlements. The projects are activated by the governor, and players can participate in these missions to progress towards completion. The town project board is located nearby the town hall of every settlement, and you can locate them by pressing the ‘M’ key to access the world map.

Here’s a good example – let’s say that you want to upgrade the forge in your settlement to unlock powerful items to craft. Well, you need to activate the Upgrade Forge town project and then you, along with the company members need to complete the objective. It’s worth noting that if you don’t focus on the upkeep of the settlements the levels can also drop.

OSRS 1 to 99 Cooking Guide

Want to quickly get your cooking level up using the most efficient of ways? You’re at the right spot buddy! We have put together a guide with two different sections. The first is for F2P players while the second is for P2P players. We hope you like it!

Useful Equipment

To make the most out of your training, here are a few items you should consider obtaining. It’s not mandatory but if you want to take some weight off of your shoulders, then it’s best that you get them.

The first item is Cooking Gauntlets which can be bought after completing the Family Crest quest, and the second item isn’t really obtainable because you need to locate a convenient Cooking Range to use. Both items are helpful to reduce the chances of food burns.

F2P Players

Level 1 to 15

At level 1, you can start catching and cooking Shrimp. You’ll need a Small Fishing Net to catch them. A good location is a stream near Lumbridge Castle. Alternatively, you can cook Sardines, which offer 10+ XP than Shrimp. You can also purchase the uncooked version directly from the Grand Exchange to get right to it.

Level 15 to 30

From level 15 onwards, you’ll have to move to Trout. If you have 20 Fishing already, you can catch and cook them at Lumbridge or the Barbarian Village. There are many players who drop their fish, so you can pick those up when they appear on the ground.

Level 30 to 50

Now move to Tunas. You can catch them at Karamja Island using a Harpoon. You’ll need 35 Fishing though. Similar to Trout, you can consider picking up the dropped Tunas from the ground. Make sure you bring an Axe and a Tinderbox to start a fire and cook the fish because there aren’t any stoves in Karamja.

Level 50 to 99

When you hit level 50, you can switch to cooking Swordfishes. These can be caught in Karamja too, but you’ll need at least level 50 Fishing. We however recommend not cooking Swordfish until you reach level 86 because you’ll be burning a whole lot of them. From level 86, you’ll need to cook about 67k Swordfishes to reach level 99.

P2P Players

Level 1 to 50

From levels 1 to 50, you can follow the same steps listed in the F2P section. Here’s a quick reminder of what you have to do. Cooking Shrimp till level 15, followed by Trout till level 30, and then Tuna till you reach level 50. We recommend purchasing the supplies because P2P training is good money makes so you’ll make the RS Gold back.

Level 50 to 75

At level 50, you can start cooking Lobsters. The price can massively vary, but you won’t be losing much of your GP. Purchase roughly 9k Lobsters and start cooking them at your favorite location. Make sure there’s a bank close by. You’ll stop burning Lobsters at level 68 Cooking.

Level 68 to 80

Alternatively, you can switch to making Jugs of Wine at level 68. You need to purchase Grapes and Jugs of Water for it. You can consider using this method all the way to level 99, which takes roughly 35 hours. You’ll be spending about 12.5M old school runescape gold so if you’re low on funds, you can stick to Lobsters till level 75, and then move to Swordfishes to cover the remaining 5 levels.

Level 80 to 99

Once you hit level 80, start cooking Sharks! You won’t be losing much of your bank here either. You’ll see yourself 1 to 2 million GP lighter from level 80 to 99. It’ll take you about 40 hours to max out, so make sure you have your favorite playlist ready.

Conclusion

While Cooking is one of the easiest OSRS skills to train, you can make a considerable amount of profit from it by purchasing raw fish and selling the cooking versions back but make sure you do it when you’re maxed out to avoid any burns. Good luck!

World of Warcraft – Choosing Your Faction

I’m going to do my best to make this article as un-biased as possible, because I want for all players to choose the faction they wish for based on their own opinions, not on mine. But first things first, when it comes to choosing either Alliance or Horde, there are definitely a few things to take into consideration first.

Appearance

Do first appearances look good to you for either of the two factions? Do you like the Horde because of their brutal appearing orcs, or the Alliance because of their mystical looking draenei? There are going to be obvious first impressions of both the Horde and of the Alliance, and you’re going to automatically want to be the faction which you think appears more desirable.

Race/Class

Figure out what class you want to be. This may be hard, because if you’re choosing your faction you’re probably new to WoW and therefore don’t have any clue what class you should be. I recommend just choosing a race you really like and picking a class based on this.

Player Versus Player Status

Here’s where the fun really starts. I would say that on most realms, the Horde seems to have a general advantage in player versus player, simply because they typically have a few more players than the Alliance does. However, this does not mean to go Horde just because they have it the easiest. As Horde, it means you’re on the team with more players. Therefore, you’re going to have a harder time finding other Allies to attack. If you’re Alliance, you’re going to be up against a larger force, and therefore running into Horde players much more often is a given. If you’re really interested in hot PvP action, regardless of the outcome, play Alliance (in most cases, may vary by realm). If you just want to play it safe, go Horde. Again, this is assuming that most realms are like the several realms that I have played on, and the vast majoritty of them are.

Cities

Of course if you’re a new player, you won’t know exactly what to look for in the cities, but I would say that your faction’s cities is often an important part of choosing your faction. The Horde tends to have more brutal, or dark types of facilities. Orgrimmar (the main city) is in a desert type landscape with all buildings appearing to be small huts and what not. The bank is made of stone, and overall the city fits the faction. The Alliance main town, Stormwind is more like you would see in the movies; A castle surrounded by a beautiful landscape, where all of the buildings are more advanced looking in the role playing world.

Blizzard Rehashing Old Content for World of Warcraft?

If you’ve ever been on the World of Warcraft forums Blizzard is usually blamed for anything that players have issue with at the game. While sometimes they’re completely right, others they’re simply out of the loop. However, one of the most divisive issues is the so-called “recycling” of old content.

If you’ve never had the liberty of playing World of Warcraft then all you really have to know is this. The MMO is on its second expansion (Wrath of the Lich King) and players have already been introduced to a dungeon and over a dozen bosses that have already been used, albeit seen by a very small portion of the player base at the time. However, for the second time this current expansion, players are going to be refreshed with another old dungeon from the first installment of the game.

Onyxia-the very same that is the subject of a Youtube video that proved to be a cult classic among World of Warcraft players. The reasoning behind this revival is the fact that the fifth anniversary is coming up. Those that were around for the fourth anniversary will recall that you were simply rewarded with a Baby Blizzard Bear vanity pet.

The question begs to be asked and has been brought up on numerous occasions in threads all across Blizzard’s forums. Are they recycling used content? In effect, yes, that’s exactly what it is. The loot that she’ll drop has been updated (models the same to the delight or chagrin of certain people) and even a few special things have been added, but the fact remains the same. This is actually a fight that many people had the opportunity to see (Naxxramas was the exception and neutered into baby’s first dungeon).

With how shockingly new Ulduar looked when people first stepped foot into inside it’s certainly surprising that something new wasn’t developed for the half decade anniversary. The fact that such a relatively simple encounter is being retuned doesn’t do much for the argument that Blizzard isn’t recycling content.

On the other hand, players have already begun to make this same argument for the upcoming expansion, World of Warcraft: Cataclysm. There’s a distinct difference with what is being done with the expansion and what was done for the likes of Naxxrama and Onyxia’s Lair. The entire world is going through sweeping changes in Cataclysm; the experience is changing like never before. For those who had leveled before the expansion in old world, savor those memories because you’ll never be able to experience them again (a blessing in some regards).
